CEM adds to hoist range

Italian hoist, crane and aerial lift sales and rental company CEM Elevatori has launched three new compact modular hoists.

The new products include the Castor hoist, with triangular mast, which is easily assembled without tools to produce a maximum lift height of 20 metres either inclined or vertical, with a capacity of 150kg making it ideal for roofing tiles.

The second product is the Maxial Excellium 200/30 can handle up to 200kg, and comes with a standard 10.5 metre lift height, but can be extended to 30 metres, with additional ladders. Both products use a simple 220 volt single phase electric motor and are manufactured in France by Haemmerlin and branded as CEM for its customers in Italy.

The third new CEM hoist, the cordless Tranzvolt G2 is made in Georgia, USA by Tie Down, it offers a maximum capacity of 113kg and a lift height of just over 13 metres. The lift function uses a Samson AmSteel-Blue 12 strand single braid fibre. The hoist comes with a 1,000 W battery pack which is said to be good for around eight hours steady use, before need to recharge. Accessories include a handy solar panel carrier.

Based in Settimo, Milan, CEM offers a wide range of lifting related products, including ladder type furniture lists, aluminium truck and trailer cranes, Geda hoists and Mantall access platforms. While Italy is its core market it has been expanding throughout Europe and South America. It has been the European master distributor for South Korean truck mounted aerial lift, crane and furniture hoist manufacturer Horyong since 2021.
