Bridon opens development facility

Wire rope manufacturer Bridon has opened the Bridon Technology Centre, a new development facility in the UK.

This follows the launch of its Bridon Neptune Quay three months ago. For more information see: Bridon opens new rope plant.

The new £5 million facility, located at its Balby Carr Bank site in Doncaster, will enable the company to test the strength and endurance of rope under extreme loads as well as assessing the effects of bend fatigue, rotational characteristics and its endurance to repeated layering on smaller more economical spools.
