New UAE location for Aertssen

Belgian international heavy lift and haulage specialist Aertssen has opened a new Abu Dhabi office for its Aertssen Machinery Services operation.

The 2,000 square metre complex features office space, workshops and warehouses, and will be the new headquarters for the company’s crane division in the region. Over 250 customers, suppliers and employees attended the opening ceremony.

Abu Dhabi general manager Tony Nuyts said: “Over the last year and a half, we have been working hard to get this building finished and we are very happy to enter the new building with the entire team.”

Aertssen Group chief executive Greg Aertssen added: “We chose to cherish our Flemish roots and had the façade built with identical bricks as at the headquarters in Stabroek, Belgium. We are convinced that the Flemish knowhow with a focus on quality and safety, in combination with local expertise distinguishes us from the competition. We are here to stay.”

Established in 2009, Aertssen Machinery Services (UAE) is part of the Belgian family owned Aertssen Group. The company employs over 200 and runs a fleet of All Terrain cranes, Rough Terrain cranes and crawler cranes, as well as low loaders and self-propelled modular transporters.

That's crazy, whole UAE & ME will crash & burn in coming years... it's unsustainable what they're doing there!
