Norwegian distributor for Jekko

Italian spider and mini crawler crane manufacturer Jekko has appointed Correct Maskin as its official dealer for Norway. The partnership was launched this week at the Vei Og Anlegg (Anlegg fair) in Oslo.

Correct is based in Hof, south of Drammen, along with sister company Hetronic Norge. It was also one of the first overseas distributors for Magni telehandlers, having been appointed in 2013.

Chief executive Ørjan Jahren Olsen said: "We are proud of what we have achieved with Magni since 2013 and the organisation we have built up. We feel humble for the chance to be the official dealer of Jekko in Norway. In my opinion, Jekko will be a perfect product to add to our company and will fit perfectly with Magni products. We will have more to offer to existing and new customers."

Alberto Franceschini of Jekko added: "In addition to expressing my satisfaction for this agreement, I emphasise how in recent years the majority of our retailers come from the telehandler world, a much more mature sector than that of mini cranes, but with many common and complementary areas, never in competition.”

“It is a symbiotic business model, which allows the distributor to specialise in the lifting sector, with a wide range of products for a vast offering in the market. The agreement with Correct Maskin focuses on this aspect, and I am happy that Ørjan has understood it."
