Hüffermann acquires Velsycon

German crane and access rental company Hüffermann Krandienst has acquired Velsycon.

Velsycon manufactures the Combilift CL system that fits to the back of a truck and can pick up, set down, place and empty - by tipping - various bulk storage containers and silos. Both companies operate from the same address in Wildeshausen, north west Germany. Details of the acquisition were not disclosed, and it follows Hüffermann's recent acquisition of Autodienst West Ganske.

Hüffermann chief executive Daniel Jannsen said: “For Velsycon's customers, virtually nothing changes, continuity and the future of the product range is assured. We are also working to introduce Silo and Combilift vehicles into our rental fleet.”
