Swiss Terex RT

Swiss maintenance company Galvaswiss has taken delivery of a 45 tonne Terex RT 45 Rough Terrain crane.

The two axle RT 45 has a four section 31.1 metre main boom plus an eight to 15 metre bi-fold swingaway extension. The company will use the crane to load and unload trucks as well as carrying out other lifting duties.

The Terex RT 45 is delivered

Maintenance manager Ernst Müller said: “The Terex RT 45 is a tough, tried and true machine that stands out due to its excellent price to performance ratio and ease of operation. So it was only natural that it would be our choice.”

“Everything went perfectly smooth – from our visit to the manufacturing plant in Crespellano, through the way the contract terms were drawn up, to the on time handover.”
