Cela 25m spider goes electric

Italian truck and spider lift manufacturer Cela has launched an electric version of its 25 metre DT25 Spyder articulated boom spider lift.

The working envelope is identical to the diesel version, with an outreach of 12 metres, an up and over height of 14 metres and a platform capacity of 230kg. The company says that a fully charged battery pack is sufficient for a complete days work, and can also be charged during operation.
