Fatal tree care fall

A man pruning trees from a vehicle mounted aerial work platform fell to his death last Tuesday in the town of Hamburg, in the far south west corner of Iowa – to the south of Omaha, Nebraska.

A statement from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office said that Keith Sorensen, 32, fell from his bucket truck while cutting trees on Bluff Road in Hamburg and was declared dead at the scene. We have no further details and so do not know if he was wearing a harness at the time or attached lanyard.
