Second 500 tonner for Global

Scottish crane rental company Global Port Services has taken delivery of a new 500 tonne Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 All Terrain crane, its second.

The eight axle crane joins the company’s Heavy Crane division based in Aberdeen, and features a seven section 84 metre main boom and has been ordered with the Y Guy superlift system. A 50 metre boom is also available along with jib lengths up to a 91 metre luffer.

The company’s Heavy Crane fleet now includes two Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 a Demag TC2800 a Grove GMK6300L and the flag ship, a 750 tonne Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1.
