New Demag for Wiesbauer

German crane rental company Wiesbauer has purchased a 500 tonne Demag AC 500-8 All Terrain crane.

The eight axle crane has a 56 metre main boom and when combined with its 90 metre luffing jib provides a maximum tip height of 146 metres.

General manager Thomas Wiesbauer said: “As far as we are concerned, the Demag AC 500-8 is the only crane in its class that can be transported effectively because it can travel without exceeding the 12 tonne axle load limit. On top of that, the fact that the boom is 56 metres long means that the crane combines the longest boom on the market with excellent lifting capacities.”
