Flexible Driver Hire & Crewit JV

Specialist operator supply company Flexible Driver Hire Ltd has joined with Crewit Resourcing , to form Crewit Technical. The transaction simply changes the registered name of Flexible which has a sound financial basis.

Flexible Driver Hire was established in 2013 by equipment specialist , Ray Burke and has carved out a niche providing fully trained operators for the full range of powered access and cranes on a short or long term basis.

Flexible is based in Finchley with 20 full time staff and has grown steadily over the past three years, Burke was however looking to join up with a larger partner with similar standards and technical understanding with the capacity to service a much larger market.

Crewit Resourcing was established in 2012 from Giltec which dates back to 1996, providing work crews and recruitment services to a wide range of industries including rail and utilities. The company operates in the UK and Republic of Ireland with around 300 staff and claims revenues of around £9 million.

Crewit Technical will now operate from bases in Waterloo, Mitcham, Finchley and Manchester offering operators to the Rail, Construction and Wind Energy industries.
