Auto loading feature from CMC

11. January 2017 | Comments (0)

Italian spider and truck mounted lift manufacturer CMC has launched a new self loading outrigger system for its 32 metre S32.

The new design incorporates 42.5cm pinned extensions in the outrigger legs that give the machine additional jacking height. When the legs are extended, the machine can jack itself to a clear under track height of 1.3 metres, with sufficient width to allow a trailer to be reversed underneath.

The extensions, made from high strength SSAB Domex 700 steel, are connected with two pins on each, and an internal retention cable. A system of magnetic safety sensors, with IP67 and IP69K level protection, prevent the machine’s booms from operating with the extensions extended in what the company refers to as 'Auto Loading' mode.

The S32 as an overall width of 1.54 metres, an overall length of 7.5 metres and is two metres high. With 16 metres outreach and a maximum platform capacity of 220kg, it is available with standard Kubota Diesel power, 110V, 230V or dual voltage AC and lithium battery powered or hybrid versions.
