Launch day for Wong Fong

Palfinger’s dealer in Singapore Wong Fong Industries has launched the PK 165.002 TEC 7 loader crane and opened its new premises.

The heavy duty PK 165.002 TEC 7 - displayed at the ‘Oktoberfest’ open day - is the first to arrive in the Asia Pacific region and boasts a 125 tonne/metre load moment, with a maximum capacity with jib of 8.2 tonnes. It has a maximum lift height of 35 metres with the PJ 240 jib, or 40 metres when using the PJ 300L. The new crane was launched in Europe at Bauma this April.

The PK 165.002 TEC 7 loader crane

The event also served as the formal opening of Wong Fong’s new 11,900 square metre headquarters and service workshops .The ceremony was attended by around 300 customers and local dignitaries including Low Yen Ling, parliamentary secretary for the ministry of Education, Trade and Industry.

The Oktoberfest theme gave the event a special feel, to the point that it was broadcast live on the local Singapore news.
