New flagship crane for United Crane

US rental company United Crane and Rigging has taken delivery of a new ‘flagship’ crane, a 350 tonne, six axle Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 All Terrain.

United Crane & Rigging's new 350 tonne Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1

The first job new crane was for Emergent BioSolutions, in Baltimore, the crane lifted 28 large air handlers onto the roof of the company’s new facility. The crane was able to handle the large units with its maximum 70 metres of main boom and reach all areas of the roof with a small portion of its 140 tonnes of maximum counterweight, and without needing to relocate the crane.
