Close call in Montreal
A crane dropped a pallet of roof tiles through the roof of a children’s day care centre in the Saint-Léonard area of Montreal, Canada yesterday.
The report we have received does not explain how the pallet came away from the crane, but the local police report clearly blames the operator. Thankfully the children in the building were in a different room to the one where the tiles landed. So no one hurt. The crane operator had to be treated by paramedics for shock though.
