Two Terex cranes for Kelley Equipment

US crane rental company Kelley Equipment has expanded its crane fleet with the addition of an eight axle Terex AC 500-2 and an Explorer 5800 All Terrain cranes, purchased through Terex dealer Bigge Crane & Rigging.

The AC 500-2 went straight to work on an industrial expansion project in Louisiana. Kelly general manager Russell Johnson said: the company chose the Terex AC 500-2 crane because of its “ease of operation and ability to reach exceptional heights and radii”.

Kelley Equipment has expanded its crane fleet with the addition of an eight axle Terex AC 500-2 All Terrain crane and a Terex Explorer 5800.

With a carrier length of 17.1 metres, the Terex AC 500-2 claims to be the most compact eight-axle crane in its class. It has maximum system height of 145.8 metres.

“The AC 500-2 has a proven design that is versatile enough to use across the many markets our organisation services,” said Johnson. “The Explorer 5800 is a great addition to our fleet and that we can easily travel throughout the state with its 70 metre main boom in place.”
