City Lifting chief executive Trevor Jepson, said: “We have seen an increase in customers requiring this type of equipment especially this year and have always had an excellent working relationship with the team at Kranlyft UK. I was fortunate to visit the Maeda premises in Japan this year and to see the future development models that will be launched 2016 into the European market.”

Alan Peck of Kranlyft UK, added: “City Lifting have always been at the forefront of identifying customers' needs and facilitate the sometimes near-impossible lifting applications.”

City Lifting now has 10 Maeda spider cranes operating from its depot in Purfleet, London, with the latest three models being sent straight out to work 24 hours after delivery and training.
