New Z-crane from Hiab

Hiab has announced two new loader cranes designed for applications that involve the regular use of grabs and other tools.

The Z-HiPro 191 and Z-PRO 171 are part of a new range, of cranes that can be folded into a Z position and parked behind the drivers cab with the attachment still in place, whilst meeting the latest legislation.

The new cranes suit applications where speed, efficiency and a high number of load cycles are required, such as digging, filling, waste handling and other light tool operations. The heavy duty boom has all hoses, wiring and telescope chains internally mounted, while additional wear pads and lift cylinder protection is included. The HPL link between the boom tip and tool also provides extra protection of the hoses.

When stowed the Z-series cranes remain within the width of the truck cab with the tools still attached, allowing the boom to be properly stowed each time, without having to mount or remove the tool. The new design means that driver can now cover the load during transport and comply with the latest legislation.
