Dur-A-Lift opens new facility
US based vehicle mounted aerial lift manufacturer Dur-A-Lift celebrated the opening of its new 2,500 square metre extension to its plant in George, Iowa, last month, with an official opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.
The event was attended by representatives from the company’s distributor network, along with Iowa governor Terry Branstad and lieutenant governor Kim Reynolds, both of whom spoke at the event.
Ground was broken for the new facility in July last year, and takes the facility up to over 21,000 square metres. The company expects to add further staff to the current 260 strong workforce, and plans to double Dur-A-Lift’s production capacity in the near future.
