Isoli obtains 3.5t ECSSTA approval

Italian truck mounted lift manufacturer Isoli has obtained European Community Small Series Type Approval (ECSSTA) for its range of 3.5 tonne articulated and telescopic truck mounted aerial lifts on either a 3.5 tonne Cabstar NT 400 or a Nissan Maxity 35.120 chassis.

The company, which previously obtained ECSSTA for its 22.5 metre PT225 and 20 metre PNT205 (N, NH and NLX) models in 2013 (see: Isoli obtains EU type approval), has since obtained type approval for its PT 140, PT 160, PT 200 and PT 225 telescopic models as well as its PNT 230 articulated model.

The company said: “We feel that we can safely confirm to be the first manufacturer in Europe to have harmonised series type approvals for its full range according to European standards. For us is a great satisfaction because we are sure that this will facilitate the registration process for our customers all over Europe, as well as reduce times and bureaucracies for our importers.”

Two new models – its PT 180 and PNT 210JD4 – will also be approved after being launched in the coming months, while its larger PNT 27.14, PNT 280 J, PTJ 270 S and PTJJ 36.29 models will continue to be registered as single units.
