Isoli obtains EU type approval

Italian truck mounted lift manufacturer Isoli has obtained European Community Small Series Type Approval (ECSSTA) for its 22.5 metre PT225 and 20 metre PNT205 (N, NH and NLX) truck mounted aerial lifts.

Since 29th April this year, the process of registering most 3.5 tonne vehicles in Europe changed, with all new vehicles now subject to testing, certification and production conformity by a third party. ECSSTA is one of the avenues to achieve this conformity, aimed at vehicles such as specialist cars, light vans or trucks with annual production runs of less than 1,000 units, allowing them to be sold and registered throughout Europe.
