Bucket overkill

Spotted in Glasgow, two men working from the bucket of a backhoe loader, owned by Sweeny Plant, in order to cover a sign.

Working on what looks like a pedestrian walkway with no attempt of traffic management, the two men in the bucket have been lifted to a height of around three metres. Danger and bad practice aside, the use of a large backhoe loader and three people to cover a sign seems a complete waste of time and resources. The word overkill comes to mind…

In the words of our reader: “You would think there was a shortage in supply of access equipment in Glasgow?”
