Fatal tower crane fall

A 19 year old fell to his death on Saturday evening, while climbing a tower crane in Hallbergmoos, near Munich, Germany.

Three boys, aged 17, 18 and 19 climbed over the fence to explore a construction site, on Saturday. The eldest then climbed over the hoarding securing the base of a 40 metre tower crane on the site and climbed it and while descending slipped and fell the final 15 to 20 metres to the ground.

The emergency services were called but they were unable to save his life and he was declared dead at the scene. An investigation into how the accident happened etc… has been launched. It is understood that the three are all building students.
