AFI upgrades in London

UK rental company AFI has invested over £200,000 on a major upgrade to its London West depot, one its largest locations.

The investment includes new and more extensive training facilities and a newly-laid hard standing to provide improved parking/storage conditions as well as easier loading etc.. for the depot’s 350 unit fleet.

The upgraded London West facility

AFI director Steve Williams said: “Our refurbishment and expansion of the depot has resulted in better facilities for our customers and will enable us to meet an increasing demand for our working at height, safety and skills training courses. We now have a larger training classroom, together with an extensive, dedicated outdoor training area. The investment has also provided better facilities for our hire fleet.”

AFI runs a fleet of over 5,000 aerial lifts from 20 locations and 21 training centres.
