Manitowoc appoints EnCORE partner

Manitowoc Crane Care has appointed Sigdo Koppers as its first EnCORE partner for the Chile and the Andes regions.

Sigdo Koppers is an engineering and construction company that currently operates 50 Grove Rough Terrain and All Terrain cranes, 15 Potain tower cranes, and five Manitowoc lattice boom cranes. Located in Santiago, Chile it will now also offer full repair and refurbishment for Manitowoc crawler cranes, Grove mobile cranes, Potain tower cranes, and National Crane boom trucks.

Felipe Barros, Sigdo Koppers operation equipment manager, said: “Cranes working at construction and mining sites in Chile often face tough conditions, such as rocky terrain and demanding lifts. A specialised support team that is near job sites and can quickly respond to any needs is essential for the success of complex projects.”
