Two Groves for Felbermayr

Austrian crane rental and heavy haulage company Felbermayr has taken delivery of a 95 tonne Grove GMK5095 and an 80 tonne GMK 4080-1 All Terrain crane.

The five axle 5095 features a 60 metre main boom and an 10 to 22 metre extension, for a maximum tip height of 82 metres. The four axle 4080-1 features a 51 metre main boom, an eight to 25 metre extension with a maximum tip height of 75 metres.

Following testing at Felbermayr facilities in Linz and Bautzen the cranes joined its 400-strong European fleet in Germany. They have currently been sent to the Schwarze Pumpe coal mine, near the Polish border, to install new equipment at its power plant.
