Liebherr for Philippine port

International marine terminal operator DP World has placed an order for a Liebherr ship to shore container crane and two rubber tyre gantry cranes for its port in Manila, the Philippines.

DP World Manila has order a 60 tonne ship-to-shore container crane which offers a waterside outreach of 44.5 metres, a back reach of 12 metres and a lift over rail height of 31 metres.

The 41 tonne rubber tyre gantry cranes have a one over six configuration and feature the company’s eight rope reeving system which eliminates sway in hoist, trolley, long travel and skew directions. They have also been fitted with whisker anti-collision, laser anti-collision and truck anti-lifting systems.
