Danish rental company Lift & Løft has taken delivery of the very first 65ft Niftylift HR22SE All Electric telescopic boom lift to arrive in the country.
The deal was negotiated and the order written and signed on a fast food tray/plate at a trade show, between Lift & Løft’s founder Mads Laursen and Mark van Oosten of Niftylift. The new HR22SE was delivered a few weeks later and went immediately to work at the historic Østre Elektricitetsværk, built in 1902 to power the city’s tram network and later its street lighting.

The new lift has a three section telescopic boom topped by a jib with 150 degrees of articulation. The maximum working height is 21.7 metres, with a maximum working outreach of 18.8 metres and an unrestricted platform capacity of 280kg. It also features direct electric wheel motor drive powered by 48 Volt /400Ah AGM maintenance free batteries driving a new low noise hydraulic pump, along with direct electric drive and steer. Battery storage capacity is sufficient for more than a full day's operation, while Nifty’s hydrogen hybrid system can also be added to convert it to hybrid machine.
Mads Laursen of Lift & Løft (L) celebrates the new order – written on a paper plate – with Niftylift’s Mark van Oosten
Mads Laursen said: “For us, this is the perfect boom lift. It combines low weight, zero emissions, and a compact tailswing with long outreach and excellent basket capacity. That makes it ideal for a wide range of urban and industrial applications, and a great addition to our fleet.”
