UK based United Powered Access (UPA) - part of specialist contractor CA group - has opened a second location in Shildon, County Durham, Northeast England.
The new facility
The new facility features a 750 square metre workshop and training centre, as well as a 1,860 square metre yard and kicks off with an initial fleet a hundred new machines from Skyjack, LGMG, Niftylift, Manitou and PopUp. New hires for the facility include a service engineer, driver, yard supervisor, sales representative and hire controller.
Some of the new units on site
UPA general manager Jason O'Brien said: “This marks an exciting milestone for UPA. Our new Shildon depot allows us to better serve our customers in the Northeast with increased capacity, faster response times, and the same high standards they've come to expect in the Northwest.”
Inside the warehouse/workshop
Established in 2013, UPA runs a fleet of scissor and boom lifts, mast lifts, mast lifts and low level push arounds, as well as Rough Terrain forklifts from its base in Warrington.
