Chilean rental company Multiservice Grúas has taken delivery of two 300 tonne Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 All Terrain cranes, the first units of their kind in Chile, with a 450 tonne LTM 1450-8.1 also on order.
The six axle, single engineLTM 1300-6.3 features an eight section, 90 metre main boom topped by an 11.5 to 20 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, to which two seven metre inserts can be added between the boom nose and swingaway for a tip height of 121 metres.Other features include the Variobase Plus outrigger set up system which offers a wider more variable rear outrigger spread - up to 9.4 metres - as well as Auto-Ballast. Maximum counterweight is 88 tonnes, with multiple load charts to provide the maximum number of travel configurations. The units will be deployed on mining and industrial projects.

Multiservice Grúas was established in 1989 and is based in Santiago, acquired its first Liebherr in 2008, but it now makes up roughly 70 percent of its 55 unit fleet. The company carries out almost 16,000 lifts a year across civil, industrial, infrastructure, energy and mining sectors throughout the country.
