Received from a reader in England, a picture of ladder in use with a telehandler to reach over a building.
We do not know when or where it was taken, but looks like a farmhouse where someone has used a telehandler to provide the top rest point for the long multi-stage extendable ladder in order to reach an area above a single story outbuilding/extension.
Such areas are notoriously hard to reach with a ladder or simple tower, requiring an elaborate scaffold or tower installation or some form of boom type aerial work platform which can reach the area.
This solution is far from ideal, the angle is way below that permitted, reducing its capacity and stability, the inability to use hands on the ladder’s vertical channels while working, also makes for a dangerous ascent.
