Manitowoc announces European management team

Jean-Yves Bouffault, Executive Vice President of Manitowoc Crane Group has appointed mostly Potain executives to his "leadership team for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)". The company is, however, recruiting for a vice president sales and marketing. During the interim period Jean-Yves Bouffault will be acting in this capacity.

Under the new appointments Marc Frustie becomes managing director of Potain. In addition to this role, he will be in charge of the implementation of agreed transition plans for the EMEA region.

Lothar Hahn becomes senior vice president for manufacturing and engineering mobile cranes and manager of the Wilhelmshaven Grove facility.

Eric Devautour becomes vice president for manufacturing and engineering for tower cranes.

"Eric Devautour and Lothar Hahn will work together to identify the synergies and to select the best practices of each company" said a statement issued by Mr Bouffault.

Other appointments include Marie-France Pommaret to vice President of finance, controlling, legal and information systems and Jean-Paul Roudier as vice President of human resources. In addition, Jean-Paul Roudier, will oversee all non American (including Asia Pacific region) human resource functions for the Manitowoc Company. In this particular capacity, he will report to Tom Musial, Senior Vice President human resources and administration.

Rainer Oelze becomes vice president purchasing and outsourcing while Thibaut Le Besnerai is vice president CraneCare.

These appointments are effective immediately and all the individuals report directly to Jean-Yves Bouffault, as members of the Executive Committee of Manitowoc Crane Group, EMEA region.

"Further announcements relating to additional appointments can be expected shortly" said Jean-Paul Roudier in response to questions from Vertikal.net about the existing senior management of Deutsche Grove.
