Holzmann's cranes go under the hammer

Three separate auctions are being held around Germany to dispose of the more than 8000 items of equipment up for sale as Germany's once proud Philipp Holzmann construction group goes under the hammer.

The auctioneers, Perlick & Partner, estimate that as many 60 tower cranes could be included in the final list, but say they may not know until the last moment. Already clear, however, is that at least 15 Liebherr tower cranes will be sold during the first auction which will be held in Sarstedt, near Hannover on Thursday October 10th.

Other equipment already on the list includes Liebherr excavators, three Merlo telescopic handlers and a variety of transport equipment including Langendorf trailers.
