Terex sells South African business

Imperial Holdings, a South African based distribution and logistics group, has purchased Terex South Africa Pty, the wholly owned distributor for Terex mining, construction and cranes in Sub Saharan Africa.

No release has yet been issued by Terex detailing its rationale for the disposal.

Imperial Holdings distributes a wide range of products including cars, trucks and forklifts. It operates in South Africa and Europe.
