LGMG N.America opening

Chinese aerial work platform manufacturer LGMG has formally opened its new North American distribution facility in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

The event took place on Monday, the new operation - LGMG NA is a division of Lingong Group Jinan Heavy Machinery Company but is managed and supported by access industry veteran and chief executive Craig Paylor. LGMG's new North American facility in Chambersburg PA

After the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony guests to the event were given a tour of the facility, which covers an area of 5,600 square metres feet with more than 4,500 square metres of warehousing, with an inventory of more than 1,000 scissor lifts, all built to Ansi standards, and ready to ship within 24 hours. The facility also includes a growing stock of spare parts.

The opening ceremony included speeches from Lingong Group Jinan Heavy Machinery general manager Kaiyin Zhi and chairman Yanyu Shi, Craig Paylor, Lew Hudson chief executive of LGMG dealer Lew Hudson Sales, Garry Francis sales director of Dana Off-Highway tor, and Ian MacLeod, sales director of Danfoss Power Solutions. The ribbon was then cut jointly by Craig Paylor and Kaiyin Zhi “signifying the unity between the North American branch and the parent company.”
