The Kuwaiti division of Hertz Dayim Equipment Rental has taken delivery of 77 JLG boom and scissor lifts.
The order includes two 185ft 1850SJ, two 150ft 1500SJ, six 135ft 1350SJP telescopic boom lifts and six 125ft 1250AJP articulated booms. The largest boom lifts in the country, along with a number of 53ft 530LRT Rough Terrain scissor lifts, with the balance made up of slab electric scissors.
Saudi Arabian based Dayim Holdings established its joint venture with what was then Hertz Equipment Rental – now Herc - in 2010 See Hertz moves into Saudi. It opened a branch in Qatar in 2015 adding the Kuwait operation last year. The fleet - the youngest in the country, includes aerial work platforms, telehandlers and lighting towers, along with generators and air compressors, welders and earth moving equipment.
