Two more Liebherrs for Crowland

UK rental company Crowland Cranes has taken delivery of two 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain cranes.

The two axle LTM 1040-2.1 features a 35 metre main boom, and takes 7.4 tonnes to full height or 1.1 tonnes to a maximum radius of 31 metres. Both cranes have been equipped with Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger setup system.

Managing director Peter Issitt said: “Since the first units arrived in our rental fleet in 2017, the LTM 1040-2.1 has proved to be a reliable model in our fleet and one that our operators enjoy. All three of our hire depots in East Anglia now operate a selection of Liebherr machines, with the continued support provided by the team at Biggleswade future purchases from the Liebherr product range should be an easy choice.”

Based in Peterborough, Crowland Cranes operates throughout the east of England region with three depots in Peterborough, Bury St Edmunds and Norwich. The company runs a fleet of All Terrain and crawler cranes, and is a dealer for Grove and Ormig cranes.
