More Demags for AKM

German crane rental company AKM Autokranvermietung has ordered two Demag All Terrain cranes, a 100 tonne AC 100-4L and a 55 tonne AC 55-3.

The four axle AC 100-4L has a 59.4 metre main boom, plus a 27 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of 81.7 metres, while the three axle AC 55-3 features a 50 metre main boom. Both cranes feature Demag’s IC-1 Plus system with variable outrigger setup and automatic load chart calculation. They join a fleet that already includes several Demag and Terex cranes.

Demag AC 100-4L

General manager Sven Bauer said: “As far as we’re concerned, the AC 100-4L is a tried and true system.
