Demag for Breithaupt & Philipp

German crane rental and heavy haulage company Breithaupt & Philipp has taken delivery of a 60 tonne Demag AC 60-3 All Terrain crane.

The three axle AC 60-3 features a 50 metre main boom and is equipped with a 16 metre extension. The company intends to use the crane in the city of Magdeburg for the assembly of concrete buildings.

Joint managing director Jens Napierala said: “The crane is not only extremely manoeuvrable and compact, but also very powerful. This makes it the ideal machine for our purposes.”

Fellow managing director Uwe Podlech added: “The AC 60-3 bears the Demag name and it comes from Zweibrücken - that's a quality seal for us, which we attach great importance to.”

Established in 1945, Breithaupt & Philipp is based in Hohendodeleben near Magdeburg in northern Germany, with additional locations in Neuenhagen, Prenzlau, Plötzin and Stendal. The company’s fleet includes cranes ranging from 30 to 250 tonnes, as well as low loaders up to 80 tonnes.
