New marketing head for Tadano America

Tadano America has appointed Christian Bartley as vice president for marketing and strategic operations, replacing Jay Shiffler, who has retired. He reports to Tadano America president Ingo Schiller.

Bartley joins Tadano from Washington D.C based foreign trade consultancy Faleiro, where he was managing director. He is also an advisor on economic diplomacy to the Belgian government.

Christian Bartley

Having started out managing the World Trade Centre in Wisconsin, he has spent most of his career as a strategic consultant, working for a wide variety of companies, from construction equipment manufacturers to finance to healthcare companies.

An engineer by training he has also been a guest lecturer at various colleges and universities and is a part of the PKG Center Leadership Council at the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).

Speaking of his appointment Bartley said: “The quality and technology leadership of
