Unic Cube Crane

Unic has unveiled a new spider crane at Bauma which Unic Cranes Europe has dubbed the ‘Cube Crane’.

The new crane has a nine metre three section telescopic mast which raises to the vertical, topped by a five section telescopic top boom which extends to a radius of almost 14 metres, mounted on a tracked chassis with spider type multiple position outriggers. Almost creating a mini telescopic tracked tower crane with a tip height of 28 metres and it can take one tone to a height of 21.1 metres and 13.9 metres radius.

The Unic Cube Crane in action


The new crane has 360 degree continuous slew , radio remote controls with dual axis joysticks and full overload system. Overall stowed width is 1.5 metres.

Graeme Riley of Unic Cranes Europe said: “The Cube Crane is an innovative new addition to our range, we see this addition being used widely by our existing customer base in a variety of restricted access environments, including narrow spaces in between buildings and inner urban environments”.
