Manitou to launch 60ft all electric boom

Manitou is to launch an all new 60ft Rough Terrain articulated boom at Bauma next week - the 200ATJ

The new boom lift is part of the company’s new ‘Oxygen’ range of environmentally friendly machines. It employs a dual sigma type riser, two section telescopic boom and articulating jib. Of key interest is the all new drivetrain that uses two heavy duty telehandler type axles, powered by and a large AC drive motor. Adding a hybrid option to this machine should be quite simple.
