Isle of Man based Mann Crane Hire has taken delivery of the very first 60 tonne Tadano ATF 60G-3 All Terrain crane to have been ordered, worldwide. The company also has two more Tadano's on order.
The three axle ATF 60G-3 features a 48 metre telescopic boom plus a 7.4 metre extension, and can handle 6.3 tonnes at up to 14 metres of radius. It is also fitted with Tadano's asymmetric outrigger system, tyre pressure monitoring and winch cameras. The crane is powered by a six cylinder Mercedes Euromot V engine.
Chris Barnes of Mann Crane Hire said: “We run a full fleet of Tadano cranes and there was no question which crane we would go for in this class. We want to supply our customers with the latest cranes and technology, and along with an excellent backup service and relationship with Tadano UK, I was able to make the decision to buy easy and delighted to take the first one. The performance has not only met but exceeded our expectations.”
Tadano UK sales manager Paul Goodall added: “I would like to thank Chris for taking the first unit of this crane. This proves the popularity of this crane and shows what the market was requiring from Tadano in this class.”
Based on the Isle of Man, Mann Crane Hire has been providing crane rental and contract lifting services for nearly 30 years. Its fleet ranges from 40 to 70 tonne Tadano All Terrain cranes.
