Another Tadano for Schweri

German rental company Schweri Autokranbetriebe has taken delivery of a 70 tonne Tadano HK 70 truck crane.

The HK 70 features a 44 metre main boom and up to 61 metres maximum tip height. The crane joins a fleet that already includes eight Tadano cranes, and its first job was lifting a machine into a chemical park.

Junior manager Leonhard Zerni said: “From the very beginning, we have had very good experiences with Tadano. Our Tadanos are extremely reliable and low maintenance. Spare parts, if you need them, are there in no time. It's the same with customer service, which is always available.”

Based in Krefeld, North Rhine Westphalia, Schweri Autokranbetriebe runs a fleet of truck and All Terrain cranes ranging from seven to 500 tonnes, along with Rough Terrains. It also runs an aerial lift fleet with working heights ranging from five to 40 metres, and telehandlers up to 17 metres/4,500kg
