First Stage V LHM 420

German port operator bayernhaufen Passau has taken delivery of a Liebherr LHM 420 mobile harbour crane, the first with EU Stage V emission standards.

The LHM 420 can lift its maximum capacity of 124 tonnes at a radius of 16 metres, while its maximum radius is 48 metres. bayernhafen Passau will use the new crane for handling wind turbines, particularly for the towers and aggregates weighing up to 100 tonnes at its location in Passau-Schalding, south east Germany.

The new LHM 420

The new crane is the first LHM 420 to comply with the new EU Stage V emission standards, while Liebherr mobile harbour cranes are now equipped with the new exhaust gas cleaning system as standard.
