15 customised Terex flat tops

Singapore based tower crane sales and rental specialist Crane World Asia has ordered 15 customised Terex CTT 541-24 flat top tower cranes.

The CTT 541-24 features a special short 16.5 metre counter jib and a 55 metre jib. The cranes use H20 masts instead of the usual HD23 due to the number of Singaporean companies already using the smaller tower sections, this allows a free standing height of up to 40 metres. The CTT 541-24’s load chart has been engineered with input from Crane World Asia in order to lift a number of specific heavy loads, such as prefabricated bathroom units which weigh up to 22 tonnes.

Crane World Asia director Roger Poon said: “The team at Terex listen to their distributors and customers’ needs and are willing to produce customised equipment to meet them. We know our customers appreciate their efforts. It’s attention to details like this one that also helps reduce our customers’ expenses. We don’t have to invest in new masts sections to utilise these new cranes.”

Based in western Singapore near Jurong West, Crane World Asia specialises mainly in the sales and rental of new and used tower cranes. The company also supplies spare parts for tower cranes.
