Manitou profit surge

Manitou has published its full year 2018 results, having released its sales numbers at the end of January See Record revenues for Manitou

As reported total revenues were 18 percent higher at €1.88 billion, while pre-tax profits increased 40 percent to €122.5 million. Looking at the divisions Material Handling – telehandlers and access – saw operating profits rise 31 percent to just under €100 million. Compact Equipment – Gehl – recorded a surge from just €80,000 in 2017 to €9.4 million and finally operating profits from parts and services was five percent higher at €20 million.

Net debt almost doubled to a still very modest €148.1 million.
