Spanish rental company Loxam–Hune has appointed Sara Andrade as director of strategic marketing and business development.
The move is part of Loxam’s expansion programme to strengthen its market share and leading position the recovering aerial lift market in Spain and Portugal. In her new role she will be responsible increasing brand awareness and diversification of the business. She will also join the management committee, reporting directly to chief executive Luis Ángel Salas.
Prior to joining Loxam Andrade spent 10 years as sales and marketing director at the Spanish division of global advertising business Valassis Digital. Before that she worked with the Spanish division of Air Miles. She began her career as commercial manager with BBVA Asset Management Spain, leaving in late 2007 to join Air Miles.
Loxam completed the acquisition of Hune in February 2017, the company had operations in Spain, Portugal, Saudi Arabia and Colombia with annual revenues of around €70 million, mostly in Spain, where it operates from 35 locations, with an overall equipment fleet said to be in the region of 18,000 units., with aerial work platforms and telehandlers representing the largest division.
