BrandSafway has acquired west coast hoist rental company Cabrillo Hoist in order to extend its west coast powered access business.
Cabrillo was founded in 1998 and operated from locations in Fontana and San Leandro, California and Stanwood, Washington, offering a complete rental, erection, operation and maintenance service in the greater Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle areas. It offers a range of hoist types and brands with a strong focus on Fraco products.
The deal was made through the BrandSafway and SafwayAtlantic companies part of the Brand Industrial Services owned by private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice. See Brand Safway merger completed
Cabrillo Hoist will operate as Cabrillo Hoist, By BrandSafway, an independent business within the BrandSafway operation.
