Reid gantries for Speedy

UK based rental company Speedy has taken delivery of 75 lightweight Porta-Gantry cranes from Reid Lifting.

The order includes 40 units of the 2,000kg Tall Porta-Gantry cranes, 30 units of the 2,000kg Intermediate Porta-Gantry models, and five 5,000kg tonne Tall Porta-Gantry models. All are part of the new ‘winch ready’ range, which allows the user to convert the gantries for use with the mechanical hoisting device.

Speedy specialist services director Lisa Blake said: “To satisfy our customer demand we have invested in the volume of innovative assets in this category. This particular investment has enabled us to spread the assets regionally, which gives us the ability to react quicker, providing on time delivery to customers across the UK.”
